HISTORY & MORE

"Pullenwood Productions" was originally formed in late 1999 for theatrical performances while studying Drama at school in that time many tite went under the 'Pullenwood' banner including...

i) Hitchiker (Urban Legend comedy about the story of the notorious "Killer Hitchhiker")
ii) Nevada (Spoof on the Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle!) lifestyle
iii) Somme (Powerful play about life in WWI trenches)

'Somme' was the first piece of serious writing I did, and to date remains my favourite, it was extremely complex and dealing with so many issues (affair, pregancy, friendship, survival, shell shock) but all blended well to make a play that made sense!

Moving On...

While studying Business Studies we were set the task of making our own business, I had two ideas

1) Trip to Alton Towers

2) Year Video (instead of a year book, which was already chosen)

I chose the trip to Alton Towers, and loved every second of it! I passed the video idea onto another group. Months went by and it looked like the video was going to collapse and after one member quit, I took over and got the video finished and released.
"Class 2000" was such a unexpected hit! It was bought by the majority of the year and we made lots of money!!!! I'm 100% certain "Class 2000" will be best remembered for the last section of the video with myself, Jay Lombard, Ryan "Dini Mac" Walford and Rob Desport miming and dancing around to...

1) Why Do You Bulid Me Up (Buttercup)? by The Foundations (alias The Cast of "There' Something About Mary")

2) BBC by Ming Tea (From the Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery soundtrack)

3) I Want It That Way by The Backstreet Boys (Which ends in one big brawl!)

4) California Love by Tupac Shakur & Dr. Dre (In which me and Ryan mock Gangster Rap)

5) Bye, Bye,Bye by N*Sync (Which was a complete joke on N*Sync's behalf!)

I shelved "Pullenwod Productions" when I joined Wiltshire College. I produced under "Learning Curve Productions" with the hugely talented Darren Higgins and also worked with Rob Simpkins under the "Studio 4" title.

But in 2002 I brought Pullenwood back along with Studio 4, my finest moment in college to date was created, "EGO"!!!

The story of Will S-D as desperately tries to become famous, the film was extremely popular, but I plan to send the VHS raw footage to Ireland for cleaning up and maybe some re-editing!

While cutting "Ego" I was approached by old friend Tom Nelligan to be in Sheer Heart Attack Productions, company I have been aware of sincethe start, so after reviewing my situation in England I accepted te chance of becoming a member of the team and making S.H.A.P an International set up.

I look forward to working with S.H.A.P especially since being elected secretary of the COISTE.
